A bit of background about me: I completed my degree in chemistry in 1993 and began my PhD in physical chemistry the following year. I initially started off as a chemist in an analytical laboratory before working my way into senior management in the automotive, chemical and oil industries. Studying French and Spanish at University College London gave me the incredible opportunity to live in Madrid for a year, where I became fluent in Spanish.
