I am a graduate from the University of Sunderland - BSc hons Information Technology and Education - 2:1. I have been teaching for twenty successful years. More than almost any other subject, maths needs confidence to be built, and a patient, individually tailored approach. Others find A-level maths harder going, and an imaginative and pictorial approach with plenty of real world examples is needed to achieve that "penny drops" moment!

I am currently a teacher of physics at a leading independent school in Bristol. I am also a head of year, coach cricket, help run our DoE and Ten Tors program, and run an engineering and bike club at school.

I have just come out of fulltime education at East 15 acting school and am looking to get into teaching. Having recently done an online cause to become a member of learning support staff I have acquired a large variety of skills needed to go into education. My passion is acting and hope to continue with a full BA course in it at some point in the future. As well as acting I also have a love for English as a subject and have become an avid writer over the course of the last few months.
