I would work with the student to find out exactly what their special skill is in Art. Students will need to find a topic that inspires them and do some visual research on this and I would then help the students by teaching them a range of different techniques, learning how to draw in a number of media from pencil, chalk, oil pastel, pen and ink, biro and graphite and then teach them how to paint in gouache, acrylic, watercolour and use a mixed media approach. Textiles is also a medium I would offer students and basic construction techniques. Adobe photoshop skills is also important in developing photographic images as part of the development. My name is Lee and I am a friendly and qualified teacher of English and a former IELTS examiner. Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching since 2003 and since 2015 have specialised by teaching students to pass the IELTS test in which my pass rates are around 97% at Band 7, or higher.

My pass rates are very high as I am a former IELTS examiner for the writing and speaking components. I now use the experience and skills gained from that role to teach students how to pass the test quickly and with the best score possible.

We will start with an assessment of your current level of English and your particular needs. Then, I can go on to plan a course which will strengthen your skills and address your areas of weakness.

I am very experienced in assisting students who need to obtain IELTS very quickly owing to visa, emigration or higher education course requirements. I can provide intensive courses which fit around existing test date bookings.

LISTENING
Lots of practice using exam style questions which use a variety of accents. Emphasis is given to all four parts of the listening test in including conversations and following academic lectures.

WRITING
How to structure your task 1 report and task 2 essay. How to describe and analyse graphs, tables and charts. Understanding diagrams and maps. Writing letters and expressing ideas clearly. Checking and correcting your work.
ALL WRITING LESSONS INCLUDE ESSAY CORRECTION AND FEEDBACK.

READING
Techniques to save you time under pressure. How to scan a text for the information you need. Skills to help you answer True/False/NG and Yes/No/NG questions. Support to help you deal with the matching headings questions, short-answer, table completion and multiple choice questions.

SPEAKING
Lots of practice on all 3 parts of the speaking exam. How to structure a response. Articulation and pronunciation. Improving Lexical Resource.

All of the materials you will need are provided, hence there will be no need for you to purchase any additional course or textbooks. Band 9 answers are also supplied to you for all of the writing tasks.

My teaching style is student focused and I focus on making the concepts clear and then engage in problem and exam questions.

My first lesson is designed to evaluate the student learning and knowledge which provides me foundation to design my lessons. I prepare lessons by following the National Curriculum of different boards or I tailor the lecture as per learning requirements of students. This means the lessons can be fully personalised as per student choice.

Hi, I'm Ollie and I have recently qualified as a Dentist from the University of Bristol (BDS) where I am a student ambassador.
I'm a hard working academic student who also has a past competing at a high level in sport which means I am able to offer time efficient, effective learning slots between schooling and extra-curricular activities.
I have 5 years of university examination experience meaning I have an understanding of pre-exam worries and I know this would enable me to support students in this position and offer guidance on an underappreciated aspect of exams.

Teaching Experience:
I tutored during my GCSEs for years 7-10 in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. This taught me how to teach in a personal style, offering a safe space for group discussions on challenging topics whilst also identifying where individual students struggled. I then went on to offer private study sessions for these individuals. This highlighted to me the importance of adapting my teaching to meeting different learning styles of different students.
I also acted as an academic mentor to help students identify areas of weakness and proactively worked together to establish the best way to tackle the challenging areas.
Most recently, I have been an Interview Examiner for the BDS and Gateway programmes at Bristol. This has provided me with a valuable insight into the interview process and what makes a good candidate. I feel this has also developed my understanding of how questions are formatted and what makes up a top scoring answer, which is something I will transfer into my tutoring style.

I will offer tailored quizzes with fun and memorable feedback. The sessions would consist of a mix of past papers, interactive whiteboard with live demonstrations on the calls, with each step of the workings, marking criteria and a methodical approach to future questions.
