Learning a foreign language is a process that implies some mimicking, language awareness, practice on comprehension, expression and also creativity. A fixture in the London underground DJ community for over 10 years, I recently completed a BA in Music Production at BIMM London (1st degree honours awarded) whilst also holding a MLT in Teaching and Training.

I did Spanish Studies as a degree in Huelva (near Seville), and later enrolled in an MA for Spanish Teaching as a Foreign Language in my home town, Granada. I then moved to the UK to work as an Assistant Teacher of Spanish in London, which led me to taking the PGCE course and acquiring Qualified Teacher Status. Personal Description:
I have taught Mathematics and Statistics at Advanced, Foundation and University levels to students in the FE and HE sector.
At the Advanced level, I have tutored students studying for AS, A2, IB exams under various boards (OCR, CIE, Edexcel, AQA, MAT/STEP, GRE). Topics covered have been in Core Maths, Further Maths and Statistics.
My pupils include those requiring help with boosting their 'foundation level' maths for degree entry, to those taking maths modules for their HE/degree qualification.

Teaching Experience:
I have 6 years experience .

Tutoring Approach:
My approach is to be a `guide` to my students, helping them to learn maths using their own thinking, thus making sessions a shared learning experience. I encourage my students to set their own 'agenda', ask questions and work with them to improve their confidence and ability.

I'm Evan, a Chemistry undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I'm passionate about education and would love the opportunity to help you succeed in achieving your goals. I seek to get the most out of people and expect to also be challenged in the process. I believe that this is truly the best form of tuition, where both student and teacher learn from the interaction.

I have experience tutoring in both Maths and Chemistry, and am currently a maths tutor for the EasyA app.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe that a successful education requires solid understanding at every level. Education must not have holes, like a Swiss cheese, and so I will ensure that a student has fully grasped and internalised a concept before progressing. The strongest understandings are built on the sturdiest foundations, and this will always be in my mind when adapting my tutoring to your needs.
