If the classes are too challenging or too basic, a negative environment not conducive to learning is created. Even if proper evaluation is made before the groups are formed, there will always be differences inside the classroom. I, as a teacher, try to be as aware as possible of this factor and strive to use that for the good of the group. Pairing a strong student with someone not as strong usually helps. Another important issue that I try to be as aware as possible is preventing the strong students from taking over the exercises and leaving behind other students that, because of either lack of confidence or not being at the same level, stop themselves from actively participating in class. I am a UK qualified teacher with 20 years teaching experience. I graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2003 and a year later completed my post graduate certificate in Education at the same university. I intend for my students to gain a solid foundation and interest in their subject, and develop their own revision skills to improve their capacity for independent learning - it isn't just about passing the exam, but about nurturing an interest the subject and developing skills for the future.

I believe that the best way to learn is to enjoy yourself while doing it, so I aim to keep the sessions engaging for the student.

I am not a secondary school teacher, and do not teach like one. Feedback from clients suggests that the approach of many teachers doesn't resonate with all students, often failing to inspire them/their children to take an interest in a subject that could be interesting for them if they were introduced to it from the correct perspective. I aim to provide that missing perspective - expanding on what's taught in the classroom and filling in the gaps are left in the classroom.

An Inspiring and Dedicated MATHS, BIOLOGY CHEMISTRY TUTOR
I am a medic with a UCL BSc(Hons) in Biomedical Sciences. l I have extensive experience of teaching Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A-level and GCSE level. Additionally, I teach and prepare students for 11+ and SATs. I take pride in providing high quality of teaching which is systematic and student-centred- so that my student achieve their full potential. I believe that teaching should be engaging and inspire students. I would describe myself as a friendly and approachable individual with good communication skills. I am responsive to the needs of my students beside being a good listener which are key for making significant progress. I know the critical role that instilling confidence play in students success.
