English is essentially a skills based subject. I support pupils' settling into school and development of English sometimes via translations of instructions and curriculum language. I also provide support for families prior to and during admission of children with EAL to school/setting. Providing different services during the lunch break time, either in the dinner hall, or in the playground outside. The job enables me to help children in different aspects of the school life and widens my exposure and experience to the children's full school day activities.

Whether tutoring online or F2F, I incorporate communicative teaching approach to meet my tutees' needs and plan Scheme of work within the agreed time frame.

Personal Description:
I am 30 years old who moved to Rugby from Coventry just before the pandemic.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching maths in a secondary school for 7 years and I am the KS3 curriculum designer.
I have been tutoring on and off for even longer with a previous pupil successfully completing a medical course.

Tutoring Approach:
The sessions will be flexible to meet the individual needs of the tutee. All sessions will be tailored to the individual.
