After working as an Engineer I changed career in my late 20s and moved into the world of Therapy and Healing. I trained in hypnotherapy and craniosacral therapy as well as Human Design. I studied for a time in a Rudolph Steiner environment so I appreciate the value of alternative approaches and Artistic therapies to educating young people. My one-to-one online or in-person sessions are for learners aged 14 to mature adults. Lesson length can vary to suit - from 35 minutes to 2 hours. I believe in setting homework and providing full developmental feedback. I have worked with a very wide range of learners over the years and have a fine track-record in establishing successful learning relationships. I have both personal and professional experience of Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties, which I think gives me both insight and empathy in dealing with my learners' needs. I offer flexible, personally-tailored support for each learners' academic needs; whether that is preparing for an examination, revising basic literacy skills, or support with higher level study.
