I am a mature lady (60yo) with a 1st Class Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree (B.Sc) and a Postgraduate Management qualification from Cambridge University. My own 'A' Levels were Biology, Maths and Physics with a particular focus on electronics. At University I studied Maths at degree level.

After working as an Engineer I changed career in my late 20s and moved into the world of Therapy and Healing. I trained in hypnotherapy and craniosacral therapy as well as Human Design. I have worked with young people utilising various modalities to help them gain confidence and choose careers/subjects that bring out the best in them. I studied for a time in a Rudolph Steiner environment so I appreciate the value of alternative approaches and Artistic therapies to educating young people. It is important that the principles are understand because all else flows from this. Throughout my work with Cambridge, a keen eye on detail and meeting deadlines were a key aspect of my work which extended my contracts further in 2019, when I was asked to be the Setter for the 9680/21 test material for AL Arabic November 2021.

Planning, running and administering Arabic evening classes for undergrades and open for the public. 10 years working within the university where I became an Arabic Edexcel GCSE Examiner, International Cambridge Speaking, reading and translation moderator as well as supporting with IB Diploma.
I have been running the Arabic evening classes at the Modern Languages Department, where I have enjoyed engaging my students in different Arabic language activities to facilitate their language acquisition through Mastering Arabic Series.

Planning and facilitating Arabic Language KS1 & KS2 classes for both natives and non-speakers. I was responsible for presenting and facilitating lessons and activities for practice.
Supporting children in reading, writing, and learning skills. My role included running parents evenings and participation in a number of school trips, workshops and events organization.
I also built up experience while working with some SEN EAL children, supporting them inside the classroom and during the break time.
