I have been teaching since 1987. I have experience from EYFS through to Year 6 teaching the Primary Curriculum. I have experience of coordinating various subjects in schools, from Design Technology to being Special Education Needs coordinator. I currently teach KS2 children with Grammar, Spelling, Spanish and Music.

Tutoring Approach:
Each child is an individual and so my approach to teaching and tutoring is to reflect this. I have tutored a KS3 pupil in Conversational Spanish as part of her Duke of Edinburgh award (developing a new skill), as well as a KS2 pupil in Spanish, English and Maths. I started teaching Spanish as a means of earning a living when I first came to the UK in 1973. Ever since then, it has always been a source of income. I am a professional painter, but selling paintings is not a reliable form of income. I have excellent references from former students that I can provide on request.

In Film Studies, my background is multidisciplinary, with a specialization in post-production, animation, and sound design. I bring a practical, creative approach to lessons, showing you how technical skills like editing directly contribute to powerful storytelling.

Film:
I have worked as a teaching assistant for a senior lecturer at the National University of Colombia. Specifically, for the first production workshop that new students will encounter during the film and television production BA. I encouraged student to experiment with their project and to get a good foundation of critical concepts for film making associated to the audiovisual narrative.

Spanish:
I haven't taught Spanish as a second language; however, I have taught English to adults and kids as a personal tutor. I would usually identify their goals and then help them to achieve them.

I have been Modern Languages teacher for 16 years and I am dedicated to sharing my passion for Spanish, Italian and French with my students.
