I have 7 years experience working as a Spanish teacher in secondary schools in London including Alleyn's, Lady Margaret School and Kingsdale, teaching years 7 to 13. My exam classes have a very good track record. This year, my year 11 class are predicted 58% grades 9 to 8 and 100% 9 to 6, and my A Level class 63% A*-A and 88% A*-B. I am particularly familiar with the AQA syllabus, however I provide quality exam preparation for all GCSE and A level exam boards. As an English native and having started my own Spanish-learning journey at school, I have acquired an acute understanding of the foreign language-learning process and am therefore able to offer unique insight and support into all aspects of my clients' journey towards fluency. I am well-accustomed to recognising the most difficult stages of learning the Spanish language and I am fast at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of my tutees. I aim to leave clients feeling more confident with their Spanish from the very first lesson. I am known for my love of Spanish grammar and I have a flare for teaching verbs and tenses in a logical and clear way. I am proud to have received a multitude of 5* testimonials from past and current clients and although I don't guarantee grades, I am delighted to share that my students consistently achieve above their EPGs (Expected Predicted Grades) & I have a high percentage of students achieving grades 7+ in their GCSE Spanish. I have an online booking system which is updated regularly with my availability. This allows my clients the flexibility to book online Spanish lessons with ease, at a time and on a day that suits them. I recognise the reality of busy family schedules, and therefore clients are able to book lesson slots with as little as 24 hours notice, or alternatively, block-book as many lessons as they wish in order to secure their preferred time slot.

Qualified teacher, experienced tutor and seasoned exam marker. I also do speaking exams for private centres each year, covering all the different boards at GCSE and A Level.

Some students come to me for additional help with their school courses and I can work on specific areas and give pointers for improving grades. I also tutor home educated students who want me to help them through the whole syllabus

I usually do a combination of grammar and other skills during a lesson. I find online tutoring is an efficient way to teach. Student and tutor have to be very focused, and we need to have the lesson planned carefully to make sure we have access to documents, so no time is wasted finding materials or deciding what to do. I also set homework if parents want this, and it does help to maximise the lesson time.

Teaching Experience:
After my degree in French and Spanish, and PGCE, I went on to teach in a secondary school. After this I started out as a private tutor, working with students from a range of backgrounds and Amis. I have taught both French and Spanish from lower secondary to A Level, including board era and overseas students.

I know the different syllabuses extremely well fue to the range of students l have.

I have been Modern Languages teacher for 16 years and I am dedicated to sharing my passion for Spanish, Italian and French with my students. I love tutoring as I can tailor sessions to meet the needs of each learner. I have a had a lot of success in the past with learners of all ages as I have taught from nursery age to adult learners. I am also an SQA marker for Higher and Advanced Higher Spanish and bring all of I have learned from this experience to support my students.
