I have 7 years experience working as a Spanish teacher in secondary schools in London including Alleyn's, Lady Margaret School and Kingsdale, teaching years 7 to 13. My exam classes have a very good track record. This year, my year 11 class are predicted 58% grades 9 to 8 and 100% 9 to 6, and my A Level class 63% A*-A and 88% A*-B. I have worked with both Edexcel and AQA in this time, so I know what it takes to get the best grades, especially at GCSE. Learning a foreign language is a process that implies some mimicking, language awareness, practice on comprehension, expression and also creativity. Languages have different components that need to be acquired and "stored" so that we can start feeling confident and creative in using them.
