I have a strong background in the field of Teaching of Spanish as a second language as I have taught adults and children since I finished my master my degree back in 1996.

I have taught SSL for more than twenty years(2.000-2.008) in the Sunny coast in Spain to English foreign residents,both casual and academic learners(A-C LEVELS) of Spanish language and culture.
I have taught English as a second language and Spanish language (1.995-2.008) and literature to pupils all across the Spanish Curriculum.


I am currently teaching Spanish in the area of Nottingham-Loughborough-Leicester to both GCSA students at AQA level and casual adult learners .

Tutoring Approach:
My viewpoint is that it is the student the one who plays the key role in any teaching-learning process.

Essentially the lessons will have an immersive character where the real use of Spanish,whatever your needs are,will be at the forefront.



There were several fields all along my university degree such as phonetics,phonology or grammatical structures where it was established a contrastive study between the English and Spanish languages I think that is a plus and poses an advantage when it comes to teaching Spanish to any English native speaker.

I teach online via FaceTime and/or Skype from my home and at students' homes. I live in Abingdon, in Oxfordshire, in the UK, and am prepared to drive up to c30 miles from home if online lessons are not possible, to include nearby towns such as Oxford, Wantage, Bicester, Henley, Reading, Newbury, Thame, Wallingford, Marlow ... I use Skype or Apple FaceTime. The video feed can be switched off at my student's request, or if it degrades the sound quality. Tests and exercises are sent to the student and returned to me for marking by email.

I search to make teaching an enjoyable activity opening new horizons for anyone who has decided to study foreign languages as it happened in my life. I received my higher education in the Russian State Pedagogical University named after Alexander Herzen at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, one of the best linguistic faculties of the country. I studied at the department of Spanish language and continued my studies of English as a second language.

I completed a PGCE course at University of Winchester and worked as a School Direct trainee teacher at Westgate School in Winchester from September 2021 until June 2022. I taught Spanish and French in years 7-11, planning and delivering lessons, carrying out assessment and marking, preparing pupils for their GCSE examinations.
As a tutor, I helped students to prepare for their A Level examinations which enabled them to receive highest marks.

Tutoring Approach:
I give individual and group lessons according to the requirements of my students. The duration may vary from 1 to 3 hours, where I combine conversational practice with grammar, I usually include all aspects of language learning such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. My principal aim is to achieve effective communication in the language I teach. I stick to the principle: learning is fun. There should not be any boredom in the classroom. Every lesson is supposed to be enjoyable and provide more resources for the motivation of the students and me as a teacher. I have mastered certain techniques necessary for teaching online. I have made myself familiar with a broad range of online resources and electronic educational material. I am open to suggestions and flexible in my schedule. I am also very patient and understanding. Learning foreign languages is a challenging, laborious process which with some dedication can become very rewarding and I am proud to contribute to it.
