Although I learned all my foreign languages through a rigorous method very much based on writing and grammar, I am happy to adapt my method to my pupil's needs. I realised I had a flare for imparting knowledge when I became a basketball trainer at 15, working with Primary and Secondary pupils. I hold a BA Honours degree in languages, a TESOL diploma and have experience as a teacher of English, Spanish and Portuguese. I have lived in the three countries and worked for an American aviation company for more than 20 years which gives me a sound experience of the working world. Hi! My name's Sarah, I'm now based in the UK but have spent the last 6 years teaching and working in the beautiful city of Seville, Spain. I'm a Veterinary Nurse and have been since 2012 but studied and progressed into teaching in 2017!

I love travelling, I enjoy honing my Spanish skills in Mexico, Central America, and South America. I am always up for sharing travel stories! I am also passionate about football, Chelsea are my team (controversial, I know!), and music, I love to discover new artists from around the world.

Having completed my PGCE at the University of Oxford, I worked as Head of Department at a secondary school. I worked with A-level and GCSE students on a daily basis and understand the requirements to achieve top grades in these exams. I have a thorough knowledge of Modern Languages and have a degree in French and Hispanic Studies from the University of Nottingham.
