I am the author of four scientific publications in the field of linguistic relations in Russian, English and Tatar.

While living in the UK I have worked as a freelance tutor and translator for Scottish&Newcastle, Scottish Parliament, NHS and Rudolf Steiner School. Tutoring Approach:
Always try to make students interested in the subject I teach. Create a ftiendly and an encouraging learning environment. Not afraid to praise them even if they do not get immediate good results. Tend to get feedback from them. Plan carefully each lesson. Use the Internet and PC in preparing for lessons. Try to make lessons interesting, various by combining different aspects of learning a language: Grammar, Vocabulary, Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading. Good news: Russian is fascinating, by the end of the "journey", you will be confident enough to speak to a Russian in the street or even upgrade your page with information in Russian, to strike your friends with a few bespoken facts about Russia or probably invite your friends to join you for the mountain climbing in the Altai or kayaking in Baikal Lake. I should warn you may fall in love with Russian language and may even dare to start an advanced course after which you are very likely to wake up one morning with a strong desire to see Bolshoi Ballet or fall asleep with "War and Peace" in your hands.

Let me briefly describe you my past experience. I was born in Saint-Petersburg and graduated from Russain State University of Foreign Languages, I have a master's degree in teaching of modern languages. I have been working first at school, then privately for more than 15 years.

I started teaching Russian at Trent College in Derbyshire as an extra-curricular activity for a group of students in year 7-8 and 9, providing all the teaching materials and authentic programme. I covered all the main parts in terms of philology and diverse the lessons with curious facts about the country, traditions and customs. At the end of one term course, students had basic skills in reading and writing, they were able to introduce themselves and speak on common themes (hobbies, cuisine, travelling etc). Any cancellations or changing of schedules should be noted within 24 hours at least.
I am also more than happy to teach more than one student at the same time within a "classroom style setting" online, given that the students are doing the same subject at a more or less equal level.
I am available every day, including weekends, and I am flexible with time as well.
At the end of every lesson, I will always give homework to students and expect them to do it until our next lesson. I am however tolerant in unforeseen circumstances, or if any other personal issue arises.
At the beginning of every lesson and after checking the homework, I shall ask short questions related to previous lessons. Thus, I expect students to learn and take notes from every I teach on their own initiative, although I will remind this every now and then.
As a tutor, I am also aware that time is very valuable for every lesson. This is why I ensure that no lesson will be wasted by teaching topics already known by the student.
Finally, I also like to make my lessons fun and entertaining, as I have always found this the best way to learn. I have taught Russian at all levels from ab initio to C2 to students of all social backgrounds from all around the world (UK, Denmark, USA, Australia, Japan, China, South Korea, France, Germany, etc.). I have led courses with the focus on conversation and grammar as well as Russian for specific purposes, such as travel, business or TORFL (TRKI) exam preparation.

I'm an experienced Russian and German Languages teacher.I graduated the University of Sheffield with a First Class Master degree in Modern Languages, specifically Russian and German. I have years of teaching experience. I worked as Russian and German Teacher in the schools in England including one of the most prestigious boarding schools in England. Russian is my native Language that I teach to all levels of students. I speak fluent German that I teach up to A-Level.

Art is my calling and my biggest passion. I paint artworks in Art Deco style using oils and acrylics. I'm proficient in many Fine-Art techniques and have deep knowledge of art history.I have experience teaching Fine-Art in the schools where I have worked primarily with GCSE and A-Level students.

I tailor my Russian and German lessons to the student's learning goals, academic needs, required vocabulary and situations the language will be used at. My lessons are interactive and fun. I focus on vocabulary, grammar learning, speaking and understanding and cover the most interesting topics of the culture, literature, art and traditions of Russia and Germany. For the younger age ( and not only) I offer fun educational games. My ambition is to help students to improve their foreign language proficiency and to achieve their life goals.

I am a very friendly and easy going person. I lived in the Central Asia, Europe, United States, and live in London in the last 15 years. I am a highly enthusiastic and committed technologist and get the best benefits out of my diverse studies in design and architecture. I am a creative and inspiring person. I have a positive attitude and it motivates students and adults and builds their self-confidence.
I talk a lot with kids and bridge interest within their enthusiasm, find the launch platforms and then children show the magic synergy.
I give a free engagement session on the first meet and spare some thoughts with parent - who may subsequently lead themselves.

Teaching Experience:
I have lived working in the UK since 2006. I have substantial experience working with children of primary ages and their families.
I helped second-year boy to achieve his excellence in math and he was able to jump over a year ahead, and tuned up his sister.
Although I had my best experience in one-to-one tutoring (for young Latvian girl), I believe the most effort is to be gifted by family.
My experience ranges from working with pupil and pre-schools as an assistant to tune their concentration and aim achievements.
I enjoy teaching Russian, Writing Skills, Mathematics, Geometry and develop more advanced skills in design, modeling, drafting.
I also tutored advanced skills in AutoCAD for student professional standing. Skype connection or a call is efficient without travel.

Developing language skills is important, however, I am happy to be flexible and focus on what your child need timely first and most - whether it is: speaking or listening, reading or writing, thinking or actual design, improving pronunciation, vocabulary, or accounting.

B - bio: Biology to Yoga, 6-months to 9 months, (ideally year) environment based, observation and discovery research on Universe.
C - cad: Computer Aided Design, 1-month short (include BH) to 10-months intensive drawing skills from Brain's Hand to Digital PC.
D - DSL: Design to Production, dialogues based (seminarium) subject based instructions to develop own Design Skills Laboratory.
