As someone who has recently experienced what it is like doing the new style of GCSE`s and A-Levels, I understand and recognise what works best in order for students to excel beyond what they think might be their limits. Having achieved 9 A*`s at GCSE(6 "9`s" for GCSE and 3 "A*`s for IGCSE) and A*A*A*A at A-Level recently, I understand what approach works best in order for a student to excel and what the exam boards are looking for so that the pupil can achieve the best grades. I'm currently studying for a BSc in Economics at Durham University, where I'll be entering my second year after achieving a first-class average in my first year. Before university, I achieved A*AA at A-level in Economics, Mathematics and Chemistry, alongside an A* in an EPQ exploring the economic impact of AI on the UK economy.

I've always been fascinated by how the world works, which is what drew me to Economics. I particularly enjoy macroeconomics, microeconomics and financial markets, and I love following economic news and seeing how the theories we learn apply to real-world events.

Outside of my degree, I play football for my college team, and I'm also interested in personal finance and investing.

I wanted to become a tutor because Economics is a subject I genuinely enjoy, and I'd love to help students build both their confidence and understanding. Over the past year, I've been running my own A-level Economics tutoring business, working with students across the Edexcel specification.
