Personal Description:

Hi my name is Lina

I am available to help students learn different languages and improve their oral and written skills. I can help younger students prepare for their GCSE exams and I can also teach intensive 1-2-1 business level courses. I am available to teach face to face or online via Skype.

I am very passionate about travelling and find that my love for languages enables me to get the most out of my trips. I see languages as a key to unlocking different cultures and experiences that I may have may otherwise have missed out on.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught students aged between 12 and 80 from over 50 countries around the world. I have taught many different levels of German from ABC courses for students who could not read or write, up to advanced business courses.

As part of one of my roles I was involved with the German Immigration Ministry, which included providing courses and exams to people who wanted to live in Germany.

I can prepare students to take Test DaF,DSH and Zertifikat Deutsch exams.

Tutoring Approach:

I have been teaching languages for over 16 years now and I have lived and breathed the German culture for many years. This allows me to give students a real insight into the way of German life. I can use many real world examples in the way I deliver the course material, to help students better understand what is being taught to them.

Qualifications:

• Masters in Arts (German Linguistics, Translation and Teaching)
