I am an experienced and skilled Tutor of French, Russian and English as a foreign language. I have been tutoring continuously on a part time basis for 12 years, typically working with 5 or 6 students at any one time. I have spent several years living and working abroad, so this has given me quite an international outlook. Last year, for example, my students gained their highest A-level mark in Spanish and French, some of my students got their international language diplomas and went to study and work abroad.

I am a postgrad student in applied linguistics as well as an EFL teacher with a TEFL certificate and five years of online tutoring experience. I specialise on teaching general English and pronunciation (Modern RP/SSB) to adults.

My lesson planning is based on communicative and lexical approaches to teaching foreign languages, and I pay particular attention to pronunciation and fluency. There will be authentic audio, video and reading materials, and a lot of speaking practice.
