Tend to get feedback from them. Plan carefully each lesson. Use the Internet and PC in preparing for lessons. Try to make lessons interesting, various by combining different aspects of learning a language: Grammar, Vocabulary, Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading. Each course that you will attend is tailored to your needs and depends on your level of knowing Russian and your purpose of learning. I teach Russian through the Skype system as well. Each month organise Russian Converstaion Club for my students to help them learn some more about Russia apart from lessons. We discuss various topics in Russian (the topic of each session is given in advance), do different activities based on the theme of the session. The aim of Russian Conversation Club is to improve Russian conversational skills of my students and help them learn more about Russian culture and history.

Здрaвствуйте! I'm Ludmila-a native Russian speaker with a Master's in Russian Philology and over 20 years of teaching experience. I help learners of all levels-from beginners to A-Level students-build fluency, confidence, and cultural insight. As a qualified UK teacher and Edexcel Russian examiner, I offer expert guidance for exams, conversation practice, and personalized lessons. My approach is friendly, structured, and effective-tailored to your pace and goals.

I was born in Latvia and am a native Russian speaker. I hold a Master's Degree in Russian Philology from Pskov University (1990) and a qualification in English as a Foreign Language from Daugavpils University. All of my degrees and certifications have been officially translated into English and verified by a solicitor.

In 2011, I obtained **Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)** for England and began teaching Russian in a secondary school in Nottingham. I currently work as an **MFL (Modern Foreign Languages)** and **EAL (English as an Additional Language)** teacher in a British secondary school.

I am very familiar with **Edexcel Russian GCSE and A-Level exams**, and I've successfully prepared students for speaking and writing components in multiple schools across Nottingham and Derby. As a **certified examiner for Edexcel**, I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to help you succeed.

* **Personalized Approach**: Every student is different. I design lessons based on your level, goals, and interests-whether you're learning Russian for exams, travel, career, or personal enrichment.
* **Communicative Method**: I focus on real-life communication from day one. You'll speak Russian from your first lesson.
* **Clear Grammar Explanations**: I break down tricky grammar in simple, visual ways that make it easier to remember and use.
* **Exam Success Strategies**: For GCSE and A-Level learners, I provide structured support, past paper practice, and confidence-building tips to excel in speaking, writing, listening, and reading.
* **Supportive Atmosphere**: I'm patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your progress. Lessons are motivating, never stressful.

Teaching Experience:

I'm highly experienced with GCSE and A-Level Russian exam requirements, and I'm proud to say that all of my students have achieved top grades (A or A*)-a reflection of both their hard work and my structured, supportive teaching approach.

One of my most rewarding projects was teaching a complete beginner from zero to C2 level, aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). I specialize in building confidence step-by-step, no matter where you're starting from.

Whether you need help preparing for exams, improving fluency, or learning Russian from scratch, I bring both professional expertise and a personal commitment to helping you reach your goals.

My name is Dilafruz (Dilya) and I am originally from Tajikistan. My mother tongue is Persian Tajik and also, Russian.
Before I moved to London, I was learning English at university and graduated in Economics and Finance. My passion has always been to live in a city where I could practice and perfect my English.

8 years later, I have three young children (ages 2-7 years) and a baking business. I speak English fluently, have picked up Turkish through TV series and now learning Arabic online! I would like to share my passion for languages and Maths by teaching other children and assist them with their school work / studies.

Teaching Experience:
Not only do I tutor my own children and help them with their school work, but I teach my family friends children too.

I maintain a positive and encouraging attitude at all times, so that my tutees also feel confident and are able to ask me questions without feeling intimidated. I'm also very organised and will come prepared for each lesson to ensure I make the most of the time I have with my tutee.
