This coaching-based approach I take has proven highly successful. I approach each student and the sessions with an open mind to learn what I need to be of support.

Combining motivational coaching techniques, I offer a uniquely engaging, personally attuned service. The first lesson typically consists of a complimentary educational assessment (usually 30 minutes) to help identify key areas for improvement . All results can be shared with the parent/guardian. I first started tutoring some of my fellow students in Elementary Logic during my second year at University and greatly enjoyed helping people improve their understanding of the subject and gain higher marks. I am an enthusiastic tutor who has a degree and NVQ level 5 in Youth and Community Worker with 11 years post qualifying experience educating hundreds young people informally and outside of the classroom in groups and 1-2-1 in all sorts of different locations. I have a Level 3 teaching and assessment qualification. I have very good Maths and English having used them to study to degree level and in Youth Work Management. I have an active interest and knowledge in History, Geography and Religious Education having studied them to A-Level meaning that I am very knowledgeable in each of those subjects. I am a highly competent musician and sports person with Grade 5 in piano and music theory and having coached Football, Badminton, Tennis, Chess, Table Tennis.

My greatest skills are in building professional relationships, communication, building self-confidence and social skills, developing motivation and this is what I have been doing for over 15 years for hundreds of young people that I have met as a Youth Worker.

I have been actively working within the church for 5+ years as a Youth Pastor. I qualified in my field whilst working and during this time created all online Religious sessions to educate and support students in their quest to learn more about Religion, it's history and how it became what we know it to be today.

Proficient in all aspects of Theology & Religious Studies. Able to support Theology Degree undergraduates as well as youth based education in Religious Studies by using interactive targeted research coupled with online tutoring.

Teaching Experience:
5+ years total teaching experience in Religious Studies. Started online youth based Religious Studies via Zoom, Skype, Teams in 2020

Initial teaching was on a group level within schools and youth based church groups. This grew to include adult education on an in person basis. When the pandemic began I created and ran the online youth based education and training in various programs to suit student levels.
