Although I learned all my foreign languages through a rigorous method very much based on writing and grammar, I am happy to adapt my method to my pupil's needs. Personally, I believe that conversation is the key to becoming fluent in a language, but at the same time I do not neglect the importance of writing and reading comprehension. I am a qualified and experienced teacher of English who specialises in GCSE English. With 12 years teaching experience in all levels and ages. Experience has been gained teaching GCSE English language and literature in school and college settings.
A committed teacher who is passionate about inclusive learning using various methodologies and resources to achieve effective teaching and learning. I have attained management experience at International School level progressing through Head of Secondary to Deputy Headteacher and was successful in these roles.

Teaching Experience:

at bilingual schools and within further education college. Experience has been gained in key stage three preparing students for key stage four. Knowledge of curriculum frameworks in IGCSE for English as a first and second language and IELTS has also been gained.
