My approach is open and relatively informal. It's very different to being taught in the classroom: in addition to individual attention, it also offers the opportunity to read and study texts not on the curriculum which can augment and strengthen the school syllabus. English is essentially a skills based subject. Although there is a lot of content to learn at both GCSE and A level, students benefit from being able to access and flexibly use the techniques needed to study and criticize. In 2018, I moved to England to start my MA studies in Special Needs and carried on teaching 1-1 ever since I graduated in 2020.

I worked with several children/teenagers/young adults across Manchester within different settings. I got trained in Applied Behavioural Analysis/ABA and tutored in this area offering behavioural support alongside the academic support I have been offering.

I have 13 GCSEs including Maths and English. A Levels in: Philosophy, English Literature, Art, and Turkish. I studied architecture at university. I have also taken short courses in photography, ceramics, mosaics, interior design, creative writing and oil painting.

Teaching Experience:
I have tutored at school and in my free time for secondary school students. I also volunteered to tutor primary school students. I can also help and mentor students prepare to get into architecture school and also help them during undergraduate studies, including CAD, dissertation, presentations, portfolio work. My name is Elliot and I am an English tutor based in Central London. I have been tutoring since 2018 but my background is in Law.
