Hi, I'm a professional engineer with a passion for developing the next generation of STEM leaders. I've worked in both the Aerospace and Automotive industries with companies such as Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Bentley to name a few and I've given talks at universities nationwide about engineering. I am a scientist and engineer who has always been curious about how and why things work - from small scale to astronomical - and I really enjoy being able to draw upon that experience to help students to understand maths and science concepts in ways that they can apply in their own studies and help with exam questions. I have been using maths and science throughout my career and I hope to help and inspire students by drawing upon both my academic knowledge of maths and physics and my wider work experience to help them understand the relevance of the topics they are studying by applying topics to some real-world applications.

I qualified with a bachelor's and master's degree in physics from Oxford University and an engineering doctorate (which was largely mathematics-based) from the University of Birmingham.

For most of school, university and career to date, my interest in how things work has guided my life. I have been applying maths, science, engineering and technology to real world applications, problems and challenges through conducting research and development and managing and coaching R&D teams, becoming a Chartered Physicist in the process. I also gained a Master of Business Administration from London Business School, on which I enrolled to help me understand - and now share with students - how industry operates and how science and technology are used commercially.

Teaching Experience:
I particularly enjoy finding ways to explain methods and concepts that people may be struggling with, and have experience of doing this with students and with colleagues at work. I tutored up to A level during my early years as a scientist, only stopping as the demands of family life increased. With more personal time available, I returned to tutoring to try to share some of my knowledge and experience with students and I quickly gained really positive feedback from foundation level, through GCSEs to A levels.

I have reviewed many job applications, from graduate entry to senior scientists and engineers so may be able to help with students' potential applications.

Tutoring Approach:
With new students, I start by identifying the goals for the sessions, focussing initially on topics of concern to students and parents, to determine whether there are any immediate challenges and to help build their confidence. We will then outline a plan for the tutoring sessions, tailored to individual needs. In most cases, this will align with the topics being taught at the time on their course to reinforce their grasp and understanding of those topics.

I offer support with maths and physics to GCSE and A level, including further maths A level.

I also hope to be able to help students grasp concepts through providing real-life examples of the relevance of maths & science in industry and government as well as to their careers.

I am an experienced Mathematics tutor and educational content developer with over nine years of teaching and tutoring experience, with additional experience teaching Physics. I have taught learners from primary and secondary school through university level, adapting my teaching to different ages, abilities and learning needs.

I hold an MSc in Actuarial Science from ISEG, Universidade de Lisboa, and a BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, giving me a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics and quantitative problem-solving.

I have taught Mathematics since 2013, supporting learners from primary and secondary school through university level. I also have experience teaching Physics to secondary-school students and students preparing for UTME examinations. I have taught Mathematics and Physics to secondary-school students and Mathematics to first-year university and diploma students. I have also prepared students for UTME and Post-UTME examinations in Nigeria, focusing on conceptual understanding, problem-solving and examination technique.

I have professional experience in Mathematics education and content development. At GradelyNG, I developed and reviewed Mathematics questions and learning content for JSS3 (Year 9) and SSS1 (Year 10), tutored students through Zoom and created video-based Mathematics lessons. At Tuteria, I developed Mathematics questions and worked solutions for 11+, IGCSE and SAT, and taught GRE Quantitative Reasoning.

My approach is patient, supportive and focused on understanding rather than memorisation. I first identify the areas where a student needs support and adapt each lesson to their individual needs and learning style.

I break difficult topics into manageable steps, using clear explanations, worked examples and practice questions. I encourage students to explain their reasoning so I can identify and address gaps in their understanding.

For examination preparation, I use exam-style questions, worked solutions and problem-solving techniques to help students become more confident and effective in tackling unfamiliar questions.

I am a Liverpool-based Aerospace Engineering undergraduate at UWE Bristol with nearly six years of tutoring and education-support experience. I teach Maths and Science from KS2 through GCSE, with suitable A-level topics considered after checking the exact subject and content. I offer online tuition across the UK and in-person lessons in selected Liverpool areas.

Teaching Experience:
From August 2020 to June 2026, I worked as a Tutor and Education Support Assistant at The One Tuition Ltd. I delivered one-to-one and small-group tuition, prepared lessons, adapted explanations for different learners and communicated with pupils and parents. My experience includes Maths and Science across KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-level, alongside safeguarding, behaviour support and practical support for learners with diverse additional needs.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach is patient and structured. I identify the exact misconception, explain the concept clearly, model a worked example and use guided practice before gradually reducing support as the learner becomes more confident. I adapt the pace and explanation to the individual, check understanding regularly and keep communication clear with parents where appropriate.
