My interest in music began at primary school. I took instrumental lessons in flute and vocal tuition at the early age of 7 and piano aged 10. After quickly becoming involved in choirs, orchestras and solo performances I managed to achieve two music scholarships into two Independent schools.

I have covered an extensive variety of repertoire, on all instruments, and performed on a number of occasions. Performances have taken place at St. Peters Basilica, The Pantheon, St. Peters Square, Bath Abbey, Wells Cathedral, Corsham Court, St Michaels Without, Worcester Cathedral, Bath Assembly Rooms and low key events such as termly school concerts and voluntary performances to the elderly.

Alongside teaching, I am interested in providing music-making workshops to local schools. I am also in discussion with the Worcestershire communities, to provide singing sessions for the elderly. Singing provides great enjoyment to many people, and working with community choirs is another factor of teaching I am interested in, as choral music is another great passion of mine. I enjoy composing new music and was honoured with having a recent Christmas composition performed in Bath Abbey's carol service.

In the ten years I've studied bass I've gained a B-Tec National Diploma in music and music tech from Tauntons College and a Higher Diploma in music performance from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where I am also studying for a Degree in music performance. I am a graduate of the Newcastle University BMus (Hons) Folk and Traditional Music where I specialised in Scottish traditional fiddle music. I am both an experienced teacher and performer, having performed at various festivals throughout the country. Teaching Experience:
During the past five years I have taught a range of age groups from young school pupils to adults in both one to one lessons and group settings. I have also had a great deal of experience teaching beginners, most recently the Bellingham Middle School Ceilidh Band. During my later years of school I assisted with a young children's string orchestra and also an intermediate traditional music group. As part of my degree I have studied different techniques of teaching traditional music within the community.

The initial lesson provides an opportunity for both myself and the pupil to discuss any past musical experiences and also understand what they wish to gain from future lessons. I plan my lessons around the interests of the pupil which in return allows them to get the most out of their lessons. Whilst I strongly believe that there are benefits to reading notation, I also teach by ear and am happy to focus on this if a pupil so wishes. I encourage my pupils to bring along any music they wish to learn in addition to their set pieces.

I have an LLB in English and a diplome in French law. I have worked in 2 different Swiss banks as a lawyer, in Geneva and in London before starting a family. A fixture in the London underground DJ community for over 10 years, I recently completed a BA in Music Production at BIMM London (1st degree honours awarded) whilst also holding a MLT in Teaching and Training.

I currently tutor at CM Sounds and Core Arts, both based in east London. Production projects have been varied and exciting with remixes and artist albums released on the original rave era label Kniteforce, and sync remix commissions for UMPG (Universal Music).

Susannah is a Master's graduate from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, London, where she was supported by the Dame Felicity Lott Bursary and The Seary Trust.

Susannah is a member of the Aureus Trio, exploring works for flute, cello and piano.

Whilst at Trinity, Susannah was chosen to participate in the conservatoire's side-by-side orchestral project scheme, performing alongside professional flautists from the Philharmonia Orchestra and Welsh National Opera Orchestra. With numerous ensembles, Susannah has played at Blackheath Halls, St. James Piccadilly, Institute of Contemporary Arts and St John's Smith Square, among other venues.

Susannah is a keen chamber musician, and has played with a wide variety of instrumentalists and singers, and has participated in the British Isles Music Festival for several years.

Susannah is pursuing a freelance performing career; working with various ensembles as well as playing in chamber music recitals. A 2019 highlight was performing as the Aureus Trio on a cruise around the Indian Ocean.

R. Rahman's music school in Chennai, India, where she was the lead pianist of the KM Piano Ensemble and performed at Alliance Française of Madras.

To excel as a music educator, Gauri studied music education and community under Dr. Adam Grieg and attended teaching seminars by Trinity Laban Conservatoire with Tim Palmer. She has performed at prestigious venues in the UK and India, including St. Paul's Hall, The Stein Auditorium, Sai Auditorium, and Siri Fort Auditorium.

Grateful for her opportunities and committed to giving back to society, Gauri has actively engaged with community-focused music projects.
