Hi Daniel. Thought I would let you know that STUDENT got a B in maths. He was only a few marks off an A and got 93 / 100 for C2 paper! So he has got into Nott Trent Uni to study civil engineering so that is good. Thanks for all your help with the maths. He has developed a real interest in Maths and can`t wait to be able to apply it at Uni. I know you have helped spark this interest and thanks for your thoroughness in preparing STUDENT for the exams. Personal Description:
I am an applied mathematician (PhD), currently a teaching fellow at Imperial College London. Before this, I spent five years researching applied mathematics at University College London.

Teaching Experience:
I have over five years of experience delivering private tuition to A-level students, two of which were on a voluntary basis for The Access Project.

Tutoring Approach:
Abstract mathematics can only become easy once we understand it. For this reason, my philosophy is to teach mathematical intuition first and technical ability second. Over the last ten years, I have taught students from various backgrounds and abilities, ranging from GCSE to MSc level, as a private tutor, lecturer and project supervisor.

I am an expert in simplifying abstract mathematical ideas to their simplest form, which is essential for many students to learn effectively. I am patient, empathetic, and genuinely care about students performing at their best. Everyone has blind spots in their understanding; we will get to the root of these together.

I advise that tutorial sessions last no longer than one hour-many students struggle to concentrate for longer than this.
