Personal Description:
I have 30 years experience of teaching Chemistry and Biology at all levels up to A Level, and I am still teaching. This includes 7 years as Head of Department, and I am currently teaching A-Level Chemistry and Biology, plus Access courses, at a central London college.

I have 17 years experience as an examiner for OCR, Edexcel and AQA in both Chemistry and Biology at A Level and GCSE Science. I am familiar with all major exam boards in Chemistry, Biology and Environmental Science. I have also been a personal tutor for the past 28 years.

I am very experienced in online tutoring. Since the lockdown I have taught hundreds of hours online and have found it to be nearly as effective as face to face teaching. I teach sailing during the summers to children and adults alike, so I can quickly adjust topics and lessons to be suitable for different age ranges.
