I'm an environmental scientist by training and I spent 16 years in the environmental chemistry sector before deciding that I wanted to teach.
I live in Little Sutton with my partner (also a teacher) and I have three children: Eleanor (19), Sarah (16) and Francis (13).

My approach towards teaching is very "student oriented" and I am a firm believer of providing more and more practice to my students to enhance their learning and analysing skills. The core target of each lesson is to meet the requirements of syllabus and preparing the learners towards achieving high grades in their exams.. I have vast resources created during my teaching career enabling the students to learn and understand the concepts and exam style questions.

In terms of academic qualification, I have Masters degree in Accounting and Finance and have also got Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

During my 12 years of teaching career, I have taught all the levels of AAT qualification, finance units for HND and BTec qualifications and accounting units for university students.

4)Interactive Learning: I encourage active participation and engagement from all students. Asking questions to check for understanding and encourage critical thinking is the best way to improve.
