Hi, I'm Pedro. I was born in Portugal but have lived in England since I was 9. I'm currently studying BSc in Psychology at Bournemouth University and I really enjoy my degree. I am particularly interested in clinical psychology and as a result since April 2022 I've been volunteering at 'Hammersley Homes', a charity which focuses on helping adults with mental illness. I took up a role as 'PAL' leader at my university where I was given a classroom of 20 first year psychology students. Although the role involved me 'facilitating' instead of 'teaching'. I have over 12 years of experience working with multicultural-multinational staff and students as a maths teacher.
I have worked in the UK as a Maths Tutor Teacher and a cover supervisor-teaching assistant role.
I have given Maths classes for KS2-3-4, GCSE, and Functional Skills Maths.
