This is a completely unashamedly a drill system that produces results. Infinitely extendable for the brightest to 13, 14, 15 20x tables; likewise can be simplified to 2x and 3x for those that need more time. I enjoy working on a more one-to-one basis as I feel able to give every child the time that they need to make accelerated progress. I am highly thoughtful with my planning, and how I cater for individual children's needs. Feedback from parents is consistently positive and I try to make every learning experience interesting for the children I teach.

Tutoring Approach:
I am happy to tutor in-person at my address in BS10 Bristol or online. I have a current DBS certificate. My Specialism is Primary Education (4-11) - particularly phonics, english, maths, language development, SEND, social skills but I am willing to tutor other subjects also. I try to make all teaching experiences engaging and accurately-scaffolded for students so that they are motivated to continue furthering their skillset and knowledge.

Passionate, experienced educator and Chartered Mechanical Engineer with an MBA from London Business School and a strong background in STEM fields.

Before tutoring, I worked in the city for large blue chip financial services organisations within technology and data architecture. And before that I worked for tech companies including Microsoft and Uber, taking some time to organise an expedition to Antarctica on behalf of HRH Prince Wales, the Commonwealth and the BBC. I've learned how to build and lead world-class teams and really enjoy bringing a love of mentoring into tutoring key subjects.

Beyond my work, I enjoy climbing and writing music, and I'm driven by a desire to help others succeed, both in the classroom and beyond.

General Experience:

I have also coached and mentored professionals throughout my career, guiding them through complex projects and helping them to achieve personal and team goals. My experience working with young people stems from my time as a mountain guide, where I took groups of children on outdoor expeditions, teaching them about the environment and leadership.
