A bit of background about me: I completed my degree in chemistry in 1993 and began my PhD in physical chemistry the following year. Following completion of my PhD I continued to work in academic research in physical and materials chemistry until 2002 when I changed career to work in industry. I initially started off as a chemist in an analytical laboratory before working my way into senior management in the automotive, chemical and oil industries. I then moved into full time education and teaching in 2012 where I found my true vocation.

I decided to start tutoring after my experience in trying to get tutors for my own children. As a professional working internationally I thought it would be easy to hand over this important element of their education to someone with both experience and patience. I graduated from Imperial College in Mathematics and stayed on to carry out research in Applied Mathematics to Diploma Level. I also have a Postgraduate Certificate in Mathematical Education (PGCE). Hello my name is Louis and I am going into my second year at Bath university studying pure Economics. At A levels, I got A*'s in French, Economics and Geography as well as an A in maths. I am fluent in French and could also teach spanish up to the GCSE level if need be.

I have tutored on and off independently for about 5 years now.
I have also volunteered as a TA as a local primary school.
