Personal Description:
Fully qualified Secondary Mathematics teacher, currently working in Cardiff.
Graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc(Hons) Mathematics with Economics.
Teaching Experience:
Currently Head of Maths in South wales having previously taught in both Cardiff and Bristol areas. WJEC and AQA marking experience which has inlcuded GCSE Numeracy.
Published author of a GCSE Numeracy revision guide.
Currently teaching WJEC GCSE Mathematics and Numeracy courses.
I also have experience teaching Edexcel Statistics.
Tutoring Approach:
Creative in explaining problematic areas of mathematics and Numeracy. Confident in adapting style to suit tutees.
Will provide additional work for tutees to complete between tutoring sessions.
For GCSE sessions are 45 mins - providing additional work to support progress between sessions.
For A-Level sessions are 50 mins - providing additional work to support progress between sessions.
