I believe that learning should always be interesting to the pupil - inspirational even - and that the onus is on the teacher to make this the case. As a nanny for two children in Key Stages' 1 and 2, I was fortunate enough to gain experiences of at home teaching of curriculum-based resources provided by the school during the lockdown. It was an invaluable insight into primary school curriculums and gave me the necessary experience needed into teaching, without leaving the house. I aimed to follow these schedules down to the break and lunch times to give the children a sense of normality and a readiness to learn during this unpredictable time.

I am an aspiring Medic currently studying at Imperial College London, I have lived in London my entire life and love all parts of it. Guided Example - I begin by working through an example with the student, explaining each step in detail.

Independent Practice - Finally, I give the student a full question without hints or prompts, to check their understanding and ability to solve it independently.
