My approach is problem-based and diagnostic. This means that the student is actively engaged in solving problems for almost the entire lesson whilst I am responding to their answers by asking questions which reveal any underlying misconceptions.

I worked with students from age 2 to 30. In the mean time, I topped up my knowledge studying 2 years foundation degree in Child Development to have more of a professional perspective on early years/Foundation stage.

In 2018, I moved to England to start my MA studies in Special Needs and carried on teaching 1-1 ever since I graduated in 2020.

I worked with several children/teenagers/young adults across Manchester within different settings. I got trained in Applied Behavioural Analysis/ABA and tutored in this area offering behavioural support alongside the academic support I have been offering.

I got regular students in Manchester , offering home schooling, pastoral and behavioural support on a regular basis. I have also offered short term interventions , behavioural/emotional support to students who have different needs during this period.

For a start, I meet the parents to discuss their expectations and their desires for their children. I am a full time Maths teacher at secondary school with a Mathematics BSc Degree. I really enjoy maths (yes this is a cliche), but I love the problem solving aspect of it and the fact there is a right or wrong answer. I always look to simplify problems and am only happy if I fully understand it. I am currently KS4 coordinator at my school and thoroughly enjoy my work and do not see myself doing any other profession.

10 years at a secondary school teaching GCSE Foundation and Higher.
I also teach Maths A-Level (all) and Further Maths A-Level (Core Pure 1 and 2 and Further Mechanics 1). I used to teach the old spec Decision Maths 1 and 2, so am also to help with these too. My name is Jamie. I'm a maths graduate from the University of Bath (MMath). I was a Maths Teacher and Key Stage 5 Coordinator at a well-known and very successful secondary school and sixth form in Bath.

I have been a Maths tutor on and off since I was in sixth form and have over 10 years' experience across a variety of ages and abilities (as well as 5 years' experience as a teacher). So I try to understand the approach of scientists to learn about the unreasonable effectiveness of Mathematics. I would like to share the understanding of the mathematics to others as I also have the passion to teach others and explain the mystery of mathematics in an understandable manner.

Teaching Experience:
While I was working as Technology Analyst( Azure AI Engineer) in INFOSYS, I used to be a Maths and Physics tutor. Since I have a passion to teach other, I got many students of 11-18 years.

Tutoring Approach:
I use the practical approach of tutoring Maths as every chapter has its physical significance and relevance. So the approach would be to understand the problem of the student and to address it practically and conceptually. Thereby solving the problems or mistakes that the student is keen to make.
