I am an Open University graduate having completed an BA(Hons) degree. I chose my own programme of study which consisted of French,English Language Studies with GCSE/Standard grade Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. After my degree, I undertook an A-level/Higher Grade Maths course and GCSE/Standard Grade level Latin course to keep my study skills fresh and updated whilst complimenting my degree.

Prior to this, I under went a City and Guilds in Delivering Learning which taught me the vital skills required to be able to plan and construct lessons. In conjunction to this, I have also achieved my Level 1 certificate in British Sign Language.

Teaching Experience:
I have done work with Borders College based in Galashiels where I taught adult evening classes in Mandarin Chinese, Italian and French, which I love. Seeing my students grow and learn is one of the main reasons why I entered the tutoring and teaching profession.

In addition, I have taught French to various ages ranging from Primary right through to Adult in various capacities. This allows all lessons to be more relaxed and rewarding as small results can be achieved - and seen - every time. I have run absolute beginners intensive courses and my aim is to allow the student(s) to go home speaking from the first time, however little it might be. At the same time, I also tend not to forget about grammar as it is the structure of the language and gives a better insight and understanding, but even grammar doesn't necessarily need to be taught in a very conservative manner.

I do like to set homework from week to week as this is an important part of progress; but it is not compulsory!

I am not available to help with exam preparation for Italian or to teach more advanced levels. The first step for me is to understand my students needs and goals then I plan our course accordingly providing my students with well-structured, interactive, productive and enjoyable lessons.
I have a very passionate and caring approach and I periodically discuss my students' progress with them to set new targets and challenges and to make the learning process as structured and fun at the same time as possible! From time to time I also include in my lessons watching Italian films and some visit to a local Italian Café' or independent authentic Italian restaurant as a "full immersion" resource and most effective practice particularly for my conversation lessons in the target language.

I am a fully qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher and have been working as a secondary school teacher since September 2016.

I am passionate about languages and language teaching in particular and am a fully qualified secondary school teacher with vast experience in the education system and in the teaching of modern foreign languages. I have also had significant tutoring experience with GCSE and A-Level pupils as well as teaching English to younger pupils in both France and Italy.

I have had experience of language teaching at a secondary school as a fully qualified teacher for the past seven academic years as well as having previous experience teaching English abroad in both France and Italy. I have vast experience teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 students.

I am a visual artist, born and raised in Italy, currently living and working in London. I am a professional and practising international artist with experience in the art industry in the UK, Europe and Asia. I have an active studio practice and I work mainly with sculpture, casting, installation and analogue photography, but I have extensive experience in painting, printmaking, paper making, drawing.
I have also been working as a studio assistant for several internationally known artists both in the UK and in Europe and as a photographer's assistant.

Teaching Experience:
I have experience in tutoring BA students in two universities in the UK and in teaching privately very young kids, young adults and adults both Italian and Art. I also held art workshops at Tate Modern in collaboration with Central Saint Martins with people of all ages participating.
