I am an Open University graduate having completed an BA(Hons) degree. I do not have any official qualifications in Italian, however my background in romance languages (Italian is a Latin-based language which, broadly speaking, I find to have a very similar vocabulary to Spanish with the grammar of French!) and my methodical nature means I would ensure that every lesson is thoroughly planned and carefully checked; I would never teach you anything I am unsure of, as this can be greatly detrimental. I am not available to help with exam preparation for Italian or to teach more advanced levels. My lack of qualifications in this subject and the fact that I am not fluent are the reasons that Italian lessons are offered at a lower rate per hour than my other subjects.

During the last two years I have been teaching different courses at the University of Leicester, acquiring a strong experience in dealing with students. In particular during this and last year I have been teaching Latin and Ancient Greek to first year students. V. learning needs had to be tailored to his special needs: being a dyslexic student I had to stimulate his learning ability and memory skills using visual aids and ad hoc examples. MBA dissertation with H. - H. was a full-time working mum of two children with special needs and had very little time to complete her MBA dissertation which was due in two months when we started. Hi, I'm graduated in Poland with a multiyear experience of abroad studies (in Italy). Actually, I live not far from Glasgow, and I'm willing to teach in this area. My everyday life is quite busy and focuses on my 6-year-old daughter matters. I'm married to Italian men (native Italian speaker, but fluent also in Polish and in English as well), so my contact with Italian, Polish and English language is continuously maintained.

I've started to teach for good in 2008 in Warsaw, where I've worked for many years as an Italian language teacher for several schools of foreign languages in Warsaw. I am a professional and practising international artist with experience in the art industry in the UK, Europe and Asia. I have an active studio practice and I work mainly with sculpture, casting, installation and analogue photography, but I have extensive experience in painting, printmaking, paper making, drawing.
I have also been working as a studio assistant for several internationally known artists both in the UK and in Europe and as a photographer's assistant.
