Teaching Experience:
During the last two years I have been teaching different courses at the University of Leicester, acquiring a strong experience in dealing with students. In particular during this and last year I have been teaching Latin and Ancient Greek to first year students. In the last two months I also have been teaching Latin to the children of the Overdale Infant and Jr. School, as part of the Outreach Program of the School of Archaeology and Ancient History. I will have a different approach according to the language I will be teaching. For Italian, I will use a communicative approach. I am an enthusiastic PhD researcher/student in Classics at the University of Cambridge, where I also completed a BA in Classics (grade: First Class Honours) and MPhil in Classics (grade: Distinction; Classical Members' Essay Prize for the year's best MPhil theses). I am originally from Italy, where I completed the Italian equivalent of A-Levels in various subjects, including Italian.

- Postgraduate Teaching Assistant (running reading classes on Ovid's Ars Amatoria, Sallust's Catiline, Homer's Iliad), Faculty of Classics, University of Cambridge (2021-).

My name Is Emma and I am 29 years old.
When I was 8 years old, I moved to Corfu, Greece without any knowledge of the language. I quickly learnt the language whilst attending a Greek school.
I came back to the UK to do my GCSE's in which I paid extra to do a Greek GCSE and I gained an A in this.

Teaching Experience:
I have no teaching experience however I am an easy going, confident and caring person who can go at your own pace and teach you things that you would like to know.

Tutoring Approach:
The first session I would engage with you to find out a bit about yourself and what you would like to achieve in our lessons. I would then create lessons and create you some homework.

I am approachable and am happy to do refreshes of the previous lesson.
