I am an experienced tutor, proof reader and trainee teacher. Academically, I received my degree from the University of Birmingham (BSc Environmental Science) in 2013 achieving a 2.1 classification. In 2014-15 I studied MSc Surveying and Land Environmental Management at the University of Exeter (Penryn campus).

I am well organised, efficient and take a friendly approach to tutoring - as well as being hard-working and easy to get along with, I am reliable and prefer my lessons to be enjoyable as well as informative.

This year my students all received an A or A* at A Level and at GCSE all earned a grade 8 or higher. I have competed a degree in Geography (BSc) at Queen Mary UoL and hold a PGCE in the subject. I have completed a Masters (MA) in Geography Education at the Institute of Education UoL and I have attended a number of training sessions on the process behind the marking of exams, so have an in depth knowledge on how to attain high grades. I hold a PhD Degree in Geology, MSc. in Applied Environmental Geology and BSc. Geology (First-Class Honours). I have studied both in in Kenya and in the UK and I have developed great skills as an academic writer and an independent consultant in my field.

I am currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Nairobi that is funded by FCDO, through the University of Oxford.
