A current A level tutee of mine told his father "I learnt more in that 2 hour session than I have all term at school" and his headteacher wrote to congratulate him on his improved grades. I am an experienced tutor, proof reader and trainee teacher. Academically, I received my degree from the University of Birmingham (BSc Environmental Science) in 2013 achieving a 2.1 classification. Paolo is an Italian songwriter, composer, and stage director based in London.

He has independently composed, produced, and released solo albums, as well as soundtracks for theatre productions and songs for other artists. Beginning his music career in 1992, Paolo is also an accomplished singer and guitarist who has performed across Europe and collaborated with numerous international artists.

His unique writing style has evolved over years of traveling, literary studies, and ongoing poetic exploration, which earned him first prize in poetry at the Pirandello Stable Festival in 2012.

Paolo's theatre and cinema career began in 1998. Alongside intensive drama school training, he spent seven years honing his acting and directing skills at the Teatro Regio di Torino, working under renowned directors Franco Zeffirelli, José Carlos Plaza, Ugo De Ana, Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, and John Cox.

Since 2002, he has written and directed numerous plays, including The Bald Soprano by Ionesco, The Trojan Women by Euripides, and A Doll's House by Ibsen, staged in various UK venues.

Throughout his career, Paolo has taught Italian Literature, Humanities, Music, and Geography in primary and secondary schools and academies. I started teaching in 2007 and during this time have taken on a number of roles related to teaching of humanities and science across KS3, KS4 and KS5 in a number of schools across Liverpool and the Wirral. I am available online or face to face. Each session is tailored to meet the needs of the individual so that time and learning can be maximised.

I have over 18 years of teaching experience at both GCSE and A Level. I have taught across a variety of school contexts: state school ; international school and private school. I am an examiner and experienced in teaching across both the human and physical geography topics at A Level, as well as the statistical and fieldwork aspects of the course.

I aim to provide flexible tuition which responds to the students needs. I can go over any aspect of the course required, providing real life examples to consolidate learning. I have a proven track record of students improving their grades with support, developing their ability to unpack more complex questions and their understanding of what they need to do to access top marks.
