I believe in a thorough method of learning languages - not the 'phrase-book style' fashionable for some years. As much speaking practice as possible is essential.

I have twelve years of experience in teaching French and Spanish at secondary school level, both from KS3 to A Level. My approach depends on the objective of my students. For students who are more interested in functional language skills, my main focus is on communication via speaking, and using authentic resources to prepare them for life/holidays in a foreign country.
