My teaching approach to tutoring varies from objective to objective. Languages should always be taught in a full immersion style, especially when it is targeting groups of people who are doing it for either vocational or personal reasons.
Tutoring of subjects such as languages with an objective such as GCSE or Highers or indeed University exams must take into account the syllabus that students must complete in order to reach their target: i.e. pass exams and, at the same time, learn in an effective though 'unforgettable' way. The majority of classes must be delivered in the target language, however in order to meet timing of syllabus coverage and exams some of the concept must be strengthened in the student's language.
In an ideal world, where no exams or timed targets exist, then tutoring of a language should happen 100% in the target language.

First of all, I would want the tutees to prepare a few grammar exercises for languages, which we could go through in the tutorial. Although I learned all my foreign languages through a rigorous method very much based on writing and grammar, I am happy to adapt my method to my pupil's needs. Personally, I believe that conversation is the key to becoming fluent in a language, but at the same time I do not neglect the importance of writing and reading comprehension. - carrying out administrative tasks: course contents, curriculum design, registers, attendance, lesson plans, students' progress, records of assessments and evaluations, filling in forms, and students' enrolment;
- working with academic coordinators and supervisors collaboratively to ensure the students' goals are met efficiently;
- designing and teaching different workshops: English exams (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC), English grammar, conversation, pronunciation, listening, writing, and reading;
- proofreading essays and dissertations of university foreign students in the UK, and academic articles that were published on scientific journals; and
- giving one‐to‐one English lessons to managers and directors of different companies and organisations focused on business and communication skills.

Tutoring Approach:
I provide students with different resources to work autonomously: questionnaires, photo cards, mats, sentence builders, surveys, etc.
I like leading students to be active learners by being in charge of their own learning experience, self-evaluation and improvement; and take the necessary steps to achieve the required targets and goals, and thrive on their courses.
I encourage students to be resilient, autonomous, committed and involved in the lessons, and participate actively.
I promote self-confidence throughout the lessons.
