I believe that the best way to learn is to see how any problem can be tackled, go through the thought process and then apply what you know to the specific problem and solve it.

I will first see what the student finds most difficult and what their weaknesses are and then strive to overcome them. Each student will have their own learning methods, some may learn by understanding the whole concept then going into the exam questions, some want to go through exam questions while they are learning the concept to see how the theory can be applied to the problems. Some may learn visually with experiments or examples whereas others will learn through trial and improvement of their own. I break difficult topics into manageable steps, using clear explanations, worked examples and practice questions. I encourage students to explain their reasoning so I can identify and address gaps in their understanding.

For examination preparation, I use exam-style questions, worked solutions and problem-solving techniques to help students become more confident and effective in tackling unfamiliar questions.

My goal is to help students understand the subject, build confidence and become independent learners.

I am a passionate, dedicated and experienced Mathematics and Physics tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience. I hold two Master's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, earned in France and South Africa respectively. My strong academic and engineering background has given me an excellent understanding of Mathematics and Physics and their practical applications.

Teaching Experience:
I have over 15 years of experience teaching Mathematics and Physics to students of different ages, abilities and academic levels. I have supported students in developing their subject knowledge, improving their problem-solving skills and preparing effectively for examinations. I am comfortable working with students who need additional support as well as those who want to challenge themselves and achieve higher grades.
