My approach is very student centric - focused on the needs of the student. If I believe theory is lacking, I will explain the theory in a comprehensive way. My name is Stacey and I am passionate about books! I love reading and all things Literature. It is not surprise that I am a secondary English teacher! Outside of teaching my time is spent enjoying life with my wonderful 8-year-old and spending as much time outside as is possible.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching secondary English for over 10 years and have experience of working with students of all abilities and needs. I am currently in my seventh year at a school that is consistently ranked in the top 10 in Surrey.
I currently teach AQA GCSE English Literature & Language, AQA A-Level English Literature, and AQA A-Level English Language. I have also examined for AQA GCSE English Literature for the last seven years.
I am confident in delivering both content and skills for the AQA specification and am happy to consider tutoring for other exam boards depending on the texts required.
I am also the lead teacher for Key Stage 3 English at my school and have extensive experience working with this age group.
