I have 7 years of experience in the English classroom; teaching across all secondary age ranges of KS3, GCSE and A-Level. I have a record of consistently excellent results with all exam classes I have taught, combined with a strong rapport built with students from every age range.

My teaching style is dynamic, adaptable and underpinned by a passion for the subject. I can accurately assess and analyse the greatest needs of a student, and then tailor a bespoke package of learning sequences based upon this analysis. I am an English Literature graduate from the University of Edinburgh, graduating with First-Class Honours in July 2025. With A* grades in English Literature, History, and Art & Design at A-level, I have a strong academic background alongside experience in educational publishing and journalism as an editorial assistant and writing articles myself. I am passionate about education and enjoy helping pupils develop confidence in their learning.

Teaching Experience:
I have worked as a private tutor for children aged 5-16, supporting them across English, Mathematics, and Science at different levels of education and exam boards. My tutoring experience builds on several years of leadership and mentoring roles, from supervising youth choirs to coordinating university projects. These opportunities have strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles and create a supportive, engaging environment for pupils.
