I also made sure they were prepared for exam season, making sure that they focused on exam papers, and learning and revising through making mistakes with those questions, rather than making notes.
I have helped students with improving their musical talents as well, as I have played the piano and learnt singing to a high level (Grade 8 Piano and Grade 7 singing), and this helped me learn better communication with students as well as their parents.

I have been taught online as well as helped students online with interview preparation. I found it incredibly fulfilling and much easier than travelling around to places, which can be difficult with those with big workloads or don't have much time during their day. I have taught online during the weekends, as it is much easier to fill up time and space, and think it is the best case scenario for everyone. However, I do understand that doing tutoring online might seem like a waste of time, but I feel as though online tutoring can help students concentrate for longer as they have the ability to do it in their own home.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching since my sister was learning to talk but I first started as a private tutor at age 14. I was lucky enough to teach a class of 30 girls just after I did my GCSEs at age 17, and from there I went on to start my own business.

I worked for myself as a private maths tutor for 3 years before working at London School or Science and Technology and I am now back to private tutoring.

Tutoring Approach:
My teaching style changes depending on every student I face. I would identify as having the facilitator style which is someone who encourages self-learning by asking the student questions rather than telling them the answer.

I also specialise in last minute GCSE revision where I am able to make the subject matter seem much simpler than how it is explained in many schools.

I have done a huge amount of work with ADHD and dyslexic students so I have had to deal with about every behavioural issue there is with the utmost patience and I experience a lot of joy in learning how the students get to the answer.

I have created many lesson plans myself for ages 4-16, which include animated PowerPoints, mainly in maths but I am happy to create them for any subject.

I always begin with a game or a riddle just to get thinking cap on and then we will tackle a subject with an explanation and worked examples.

Working in the legal field has exposed me to numerous cases and claims that I use in teaching case analysis while allowing me to provide legal training to adults and health professionals. I am an easy going fellow and love to build a rapport with my students to create a conducive learning environment and ensure my students have a great time while learning. I have been a tutor for 6 years and have worked with a diverse group of learners. I tutor individuals on legal case management to help them analyze and manage claims and cases and prepare inquests. I also teach English, with a focus on public speaking to help individuals gain more confidence and improve the English speaking skills, particularly ESL learners.

Given my extensive experience, I have an adaptable teaching approach that is student-centered. I move with my students' pace and let them guide what areas I should focus on based on their needs. When tutoring law, I provide cases for analyses and help students during the case analysis by supporting active discussion. For my English learners, I focus on building vocabulary and comprehension and encourage learners to speak by providing arbitrary topics of discussion. I provide resources and also help students prepare for examinations.
