My approach to proof-editing / English checking is to look primarily at the language. For some clients - university students in particular - it is not appropriate to offer an editorial service as this goes against the rules of university submissions. As you will see from my resume much of the work I have done has a lot of transferable skills such
as good communication; listening skills; patience, hard working, creativity and others. I have held
roles in leadership capacity in voluntary sector, team leading a group of 32 people of differing
ages: training; teaching; mobilising and preparing weekly rotas to provide hosting and welcoming
duties to clients. I had not taught in a school environment I have experience in tending to the needs and
care of children as I have always helped and even home-schooled my 3 children from 2yrs to 5yrs. I also assisted them with
