I have an MA in Classical Philology and Russian Studies from the University of St Petersburg and am qualified to teach Russian, French, English and Latin. Since graduating in 1978 I have worked extensively in language teaching and translation / interpreting. I have also worked in France for 3 years and attended an interpreting school in Paris (ISIT - Institut Superieur d' Interpretation et de Traduction). I am a qualified teacher with 16 years experience in international schools in the Netherlands and Hong Kong. I am a qualified EAL (English as an Additional Language) tutor. I specialise in teaching children and adults, and I am a native English speaker. I have helped students improve grades, support them in essay writing; assisted students in their journey starting and thriving through school; helped foreign students settle into their new life with the development of their English skills.

I am patient, creative, organised, reliable and professional and I build up an excellent rapport with my students. I create tailor made lessons catered towards the needs of the student.
