"Matt only got an E grade in his February A2 mock exam and the school predicted he would get a C grade at A2. With the significant assistance from Ian, Matt achieved an A* at A2. I am a businessman who teaches. Employed in the Media industry I have worked for some of the largest national Newspapers and Magazines in the UK. Launched my own media business and operated it successfully for many years before concentrating fully on y Teaching work.

Teaching Experience:
Worked for a wide variety of colleges and universities. In London I worked on the Global Business Module at University of Westminster and Regents University London. At LSST I delivered their Diploma in Business Studies course. At Uni West I was one of their A1 Assessors for the Harrow area. In the Bournemouth region I have worked at St Peters School, Southbourne teaching Y 11 and Y 12 their BTEC National Business Studies course . At Parkstone Grammer I worked with GCSE Y 9 and 10 delivering their Business Studies and Economics courses.

Tutoring Approach:
I apply the same principle to my teaching as when I ran my own business. Everything is results driven and I am hoping to make better business people out of my students who happen to pass their exams en route. There are few business problems I have not come across in my career and this allows me to show the real life application of the various busness theories.

I have been teaching Economics and Business for over 16 years as Head of Economics and Business in three high performing independent schools. This followed 19 years working in commercial roles in the fast moving consumer goods industry, after which I completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Business Education) at the University of Roehampton in London.
I am taking early retirement at the end of 25-26 academic year so I will be a full time tutor available whenever I am not on holiday!
