I have taught across Key stages 3,4 and 5 at GCSE,BTEC Level 2 Digital IT,AS and A levels during my teaching career. Taught for 9 years at a high school in Northumberland. I also design and create websites in my spare time. Been an IT trainer teaching apprentices at Level 3 and 4, Worked in FE colleges including spells at Tynemet College and Newcastle College. Currently I work in a secondary school in North Tyneside. I have 20 years experience of teaching all topics within Computer Science and ICT at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. Alongside my teaching experience, I also work as a GCSE examiner, which gives me valuable insight into exam techniques, mark schemes, and what examiners are

Tutoring Approach:
My lessons are versatile and fun, all while maintaining the objective of the task at hand. I start by assessing the student's baseline knowledge, then scaffold based on that. I continue the lesson by challenging the student to a high grade level, and finish the lesson off by consolidating all the knowledge learnt in the lesson.
