At present I work with the Leicestershire Adult Learning Service working as an E Learning Champion at Oadby Library. I offer free computer tuition to adults wishing to learn more about the computer or have any puzzling questions that need answering. All learners complete a course called My Guide which helps them learn more about the computer by following a set of modules and topics.

Whilst I was at Moat at during my education at Beauchamp College and Loughborough College I helped to assist/ train a small group in the use of particular pieces of hardware and software At Loughborugh College. Whilst at Moat I assisted staff in the training and understanding of new software to ensure all staff have the confidence to deliver the curriculum and to provide support to staff appropriate to their needs. My approach to teaching/tutoring is a simple one I always strive to make sure the learner understands whats he/she is being taught and if there are aspects that they find difficult I revise that particular topic over and over again until they understand and I do this using the various teaching methods and learning styles available to ne including the VAK (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) approach.

Once they have an understanding of the topic I don't move on until they feel comfortable and I always reasure them throughout.

Engineering is one of the hardest subjects you can study, and it doesn't help when module content is disorganised, learning materials are messy and hard to follow, and when lecturers are too busy to respond to your questions. I would first start with the basics, providing an understanding of underlaying concepts before showing examples that the student has to understand. I am Samson Shaji. I worked as Technology Analyst(Azure AI Engineer) in INFOSYS for last 3.8 years. Now I am student of MSc iin Computational Mechanics at Swansea University, Swansea, Wales. I love to understand and know about the laws of universe which is written in the language of mathematics as Galileo Galilei says- "The book of nature is written in the language of mathematics". So I try to understand the approach of scientists to learn about the unreasonable effectiveness of Mathematics. I would like to share the understanding of the mathematics to others as I also have the passion to teach others and explain the mystery of mathematics in an understandable manner.

Teaching Experience:
While I was working as Technology Analyst( Azure AI Engineer) in INFOSYS, I used to be a Maths and Physics tutor. Since I have a passion to teach other, I got many students of 11-18 years.

Tutoring Approach:
I use the practical approach of tutoring Maths as every chapter has its physical significance and relevance. So the approach would be to understand the problem of the student and to address it practically and conceptually. Thereby solving the problems or mistakes that the student is keen to make.

I am a Mathematician and Computer Scientist with 30 plus years plus experience working across both research institutes and business firms. I have a bachelor degree in "Mathematics and Computing", a Master degree in "Mathematics - Numerical Analysis" and a Doctorate degree in "Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence". I am friendly, enthusiastic and honest. I am also bilingual - English and French.

Teaching Experience:
I have tutored Mathematics and Computer Science to "GCSE" students and above. I have given 1-2-1 tutoring/coaching to individuals, and courses/seminars to small and large groups of university students and professionals.

Tutoring Approach:

* Head of Computing and ICT at school in County Durham. * Worked as 2nd in Department as Teacher of Computing at School in Durham where I taught for 9 years. *Specialise in Computer Science at GSCE OCR for both papers 1 and 2 as well as Python coding that will assist the students project and exam technique. *I also specialise at Computing at A Level OCR where I teach all the aspects of the paper one section of the course from Hardware, Software to the Mathematical side of Computing. * I am currently the lead mentor at my school for Computer Science trainee teachers where I aim to try and support the trainee as much as possible in the classroom to help them progress. * Currently exam mark for OCR at both GCSE and A Level.
