I usually start with the current topics that student is studying in the school and explain to the student that topic and related background knowledge. As I teach one to one, my pace is faster than school and we usually finish the topic in one or sometimes two classes. And then we do previous topics and I explain doubts on those topics. I've found in the past that the best approach to tutoring is to be very positive and flexible. I have never been a super forceful or strict tutor and think that trying to be too overbearing, particularly in sessions outside of or extra to school like tutoring, just makes people perform worse. My lessons are structured, interactive, and adapted to each student's pace and goals, whether they are aiming to pass, secure top grades, or prepare for progression into A-Level studies, university, or healthcare-related careers.

Tutoring Approach:
I take an interactive and structured approach to tutoring, starting with what the student already knows and building from there. My lessons are discussion-based rather than passive, encouraging active participation.

To ensure engagement, I incorporate practice questions to help apply concepts effectively. I also use visual aids and real-world examples to keep lessons dynamic and relatable.

My lessons are bespoke to each student and tailored to what they are covering at school, which helps boost engagement in the classroom and build confidence, especially when teachers recognise their progress through improved assessment grades.

Personal Description:
I am a college student, from the North of England. My academic passions include sciences as well as maths. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy travelling, hiking and new experiences. I am a novice polyglot, fluent in German, Arabic and French.

I have been tutoring for 3 years, since I completed my GCSE qualifications in 2023

Tutoring Approach:
My lessons are versatile and fun, all while maintaining the objective of the task at hand. I start by assessing the student's baseline knowledge, then scaffold based on that. I continue the lesson by challenging the student to a high grade level, and finish the lesson off by consolidating all the knowledge learnt in the lesson.
