After completing my D.Phil from the University of Oxford, I worked for 7 years as a Senior Biologist for a small drug discovery company where I was responsible for screening new drug targets in tissue models for human disease. I will first see what the student finds most difficult and what their weaknesses are and then strive to overcome them. I especially like to help students who find themselves struggling with the subject on a more psychological level with their self-confidence and past experience. I have a passion for these subjects and wish to help others learn more about it.

Tutoring Approach:
I tend to start my tutoring with warm-up questions relating to the previous session as a mini tester for memory. To keep track of content during the session I tend to switch between teaching and worksheets, making sure the student doesn't feel like they're at boring old school again haha. Towards the end, I'll do a brief summary and tester questions on what we've learnt to do.

It also depends on where we are at during the school term where typically towards the end I will focus on past papers more and constantly redirect the students to more resources to help them.
